- CS39000-CP0: Competitive Programming flier
This one-credit course is a weekly, three-hour laboratory. It emphasizes the transition from problem statement to algorithm to code. This year there will be a wider variety of problems to accommodate different skill levels. The top students will compete in the regional ACM programming contest held on Saturday, October 22nd. Following the traditional algorithm competition, we will complete the semester with a “king of the hill” style ladder competition (last year it was the ICPC snowball fight simulation, http://queue.acm.org/icpc/).
